Our Industry Events
Leading the Industry Through Education and Engagement
At QED LAB, we take pride in being actively involved in industry events across the region and beyond. Our team regularly attends and contributes to conferences, workshops, and seminars where building science and energy performance are at the forefront of discussion. Over the years, we have delivered numerous presentations that highlight the latest changes in energy codes, test methods, and compliance requirements, ensuring that industry professionals remain informed and up to date. By engaging directly with architects, contractors, engineers, and code officials, we help bridge the gap between evolving regulations and real-world application.

In addition to discussing regulatory changes, we emphasize hands-on knowledge around blower door testing, building diagnostics, and whole-building performance. Our sessions are designed not only to share information but also to equip attendees with practical insights they can apply in their own projects. Whether we are presenting to a room of seasoned professionals or introducing newer audiences to critical testing methods, our goal is to raise awareness, promote best practices, and ultimately contribute to higher-performing, energy-efficient buildings throughout the industry.
Below are some of the recent conferences we have presented at:
2023 ABAA Conference: Whole building airtightness; a 439 building study of performance
April 2024 – PBEC (Portland Building Enclosure Council): Oregon energy codes and blower door testing
June 2024 – STEM Industry Day: Presenter / Vendor at View Ridge Middle School
