CTC Bennington Project in Vancouver
Air Barrier Testing in Vancouver
QED Lab is in the field today performing window testing and residential air barrier testing at the new CTC Bennington on First project in Vancouver, Washington. This exciting project is another example of our team’s commitment to ensuring high-quality building performance through comprehensive on-site verification. It’s a double test day, with both window assemblies and whole-building airtightness being evaluated to confirm compliance with the Washington State Energy Code and House Bill 1848. These tests are essential for verifying that the building’s envelope meets strict performance standards for air leakage, water resistance, and overall energy efficiency.
By combining both fenestration performance testing and air barrier testing, QED Lab helps ensure the Bennington on First project delivers durable, efficient, and comfortable living environments for future residents. Each test provides valuable data that confirms the building envelope’s integrity, helping the project team achieve code compliance while supporting Washington’s broader goals for energy conservation and sustainable construction.
